Italy is the most perfect place to symbolize relaxation. Laid back, go with the flow, is how Italians live their life – a great life lesson to take home. When Miranda and Grady were thinking about their day, they wanted just that. Memories with their closest loved ones, while taking in the culture and rich history that Italy has to offer. There are so many moments that come to mind when we think back to Miranda and Grady’s mutli-day celebration in Italy. From the cooking class, to the late night dancing with espresso martinis in hand, the emotions were so sweet. It was a weekend we wanted to bottle up and take home with us. 

We started the weekend off by scouting some areas in Puglia for their engagement session. Walking through the historic streets with the smell of pizza, dropping locations to make for easy planning the next day with Miranda and Grady. The next morning, we shot around the cutest town and grabbed gelato before Miranda and Grady met their family for a beach day. That evening, they traded out a traditional rehearsal dinner with a fun cooking class with their loved ones. Walking around the villa going over the rich history of the grounds, sipping on wine before learning how to make pasta – duh! So many memories were made the night before the wedding. 

The wedding morning consisted of cappuccinos, fresh pastries, and the Adriatic Sea. With the windows and the door open, the view was picture perfect. We got started on shooting details in the garden while the girls finished getting ready. Grady and the boys hung out by the pool with drinks in hand. The ceremony was perfect, intimate and full of so much love. Miranda, her dad and her 20 foot veil walked down the stunning stairs to her happily ever after. The moment was straight out of a rom com. The family exited into the gardens for happy hour while we took the newlyweds all around the villa to capture the moment. Just married, giddy, ready to see the reception space, we started the evening. Just 15 people, sitting under the Italian sun eating and drinking well. The photos capture the love and emotion of a day that has been in the works for many years.

Where do I even begin?! If I could give more than 5 stars, I absolutely would. Gretchen and Kenny are hands down the best, and I can’t recommend them enough.
